Project summary
The Fundación Acción Dibal is collaborating with ALBOAN and its local partner, Fe y Alegría Chad, on a project aimed at expanding access to primary education in the Guéra region, one of the most vulnerable areas of the country. The initiative involves the construction of two classrooms and a school office in the town of Mongo, creating a suitable learning environment for 100 children who face difficulties in accessing education.
As well as improving educational infrastructure, the project encourages families to participate in the construction of the school and prioritises the use of local materials, thereby strengthening the community’s commitment to education. The initiative helps to combat school drop-out rates, particularly amongst girls, and to create new opportunities for development in a region characterised by poverty, a scarcity of resources and difficulties in accessing education.
